Parley (discuss) to determine the winner – either the first player to reach 500 points or highest score after three rounds.
Your Turn:
Play a set of cards from your hand by suit or kind, or play cards to match another player’s set, or play an Adventure card. Play as many cards as you wish. When you are done, draw a new card from the pile. If you cannot play any of these actions, draw a card from the pile.
Your turn is complete, game play moves to the player on your left.
The game ends when a person plays all their cards or the Kraken Attack! card is played.

First Mate+Deckhands+Cook does NOT make a kind set.
A goal during the Kickstarter campaign was unlocked, so all copies of the limited Kickstarter edition include a blank adventure card.
Customized it to add an adventure or leave it in the box. It’s totally up to you!
It can also be used as a spare, just in case your dog eats a card.
First Mate, Deck Hands and Cook cards are crew members.
Use one or more as part of a suited set. Suited sets include a captain card, crew card and another suited card or ship card.
The game ends in one of two ways:
1) When the Kraken Attack! card is drawn, it must be played immediately and the game ends. All players must subtract the value of points in their hands from their scores.
2) Play all cards in ye hand to score 20 pirate points and end the game. There is NO penalty to other players with cards still in their hands.
You get the pirate points, regardless if you matched your own set or your opponent’s set. For example: Match another treasure chest to the 3-of-a-kind set shown above and you get the 10 pirate points at the end of the game.
